We check your simplified or detailed CIC34 is complete and include it with your accounts in the filing package.
Delivered in the format the Companies House CIC online filing service accepts.
AI-assisted tagging, validated by a human iXBRL expert. Unlimited revisions until your filing is accepted.
Many CICs are run by volunteers and small teams. We keep the process simple and stay with you until Companies House accepts the filing.
A small CIC must meet at least 2 of the 3 conditions in the table. The limits depend on when your accounting period began.
Most CICs complete the simplified CIC34. The detailed report is for CICs with more complex financial arrangements.
Companies House WebFiling cannot be used for CIC accounts. To file online, the accounts must be iXBRL tagged using third-party software and submitted as a ZIP package, and not every accounting software provider supports CIC filing. FinTags prepares that package for you.
Amending accounts already filed? Companies House only accepts amended CIC accounts on paper, with a new CIC34 report. There is no £15 fee for amended accounts.
Spontaneous feedback from accounting firms, group companies, SMEs and charities we file for - verified independently on Trustpilot.

A CIC is a special type of limited company that exists to benefit the community rather than private shareholders. CICs are approved and supervised by the Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies (the CIC Regulator).
Every CIC files its annual accounts, a CIC34 community interest report and a £15 fee with Companies House. The accounts must be approved by the directors and made up to the accounting reference date. The CIC34 report is placed on the public register.
CICs follow the same accounting rules as other companies. A private CIC must usually file its accounts and CIC34 report with Companies House within 9 months of the end of its accounting reference period.
No. WebFiling cannot be used for CIC accounts. To file online, the accounts must be iXBRL tagged using third-party software and submitted as a ZIP package through the Companies House CIC filing service. The alternative is filing on paper by post.
£30 per filing. This covers iXBRL tagging of your CIC accounts and preparing the filing package with your CIC34 report. The £15 Companies House fee is paid separately by the CIC when filing. Prices exclude VAT.
The CIC34 is your directors' account of what the company did for its community, so the content comes from you. We check that every section is completed and include the report with your accounts in the filing package.
Most CICs use the simplified report. The detailed report is for CICs with more complex financial arrangements, where professional advice on the financial sections may be needed. We can help you decide.
Yes. Dormant CICs also file accounts, a CIC34 report and the £15 fee. Note that CICs are not expected to stay dormant for an extended period (5 years); if they do, they will fail the community interest test.
