How To Convert Accounts to iXBRL

A simple and secure online process to convert you annual financial statements to iXBRL format complying with CT600 filing requirements for HMRC.

Step 1 : Set-up your online account

Let us get started.To register your online account

  • Click "Start Now" button at the top right hand side of the webpage.
  • Fill up the short form, read and accept the terms of use.Submit form .

For online security purpose you will receive an account activation link by email.Click on the link to activate and access your account securely.

Step 2 : Create an order

Login to your account. Start creating an order by

  • entering the name of the the company for which you need iXBRL accounts
  • corresponding UTR number.

Step 3 : Choose options. Pay online.

Customize your order based on,

  • services you require such as iXBRL conversion, CT600 filing
  • number of pages uploaded
  • turnaround time by when you will need the files

Based on the options chosen you will be presented with the total fees for the services. You can make an online payment through payment gateway.


For customers such as accounting firms and group companies who require our iXBRL services multiple times a year, we have the option of payment through BACS.

Step 4 : Upload financial statements

Please upload the necessary financial statements.

You can choose to upload in formats such as

  • Word,
  • Excel or
  • PDF (including scanned).


In case we have not received all the information we require for creating the iXBRL accounts, we will email you an Excel template requesting the short information.

Step 5 : Download iXBRL, review and approve

Our iXBRL experts will now convert your financial statement to iXBRL format, run a quality check and verify that the iXBRL file is accepted by HMRC.

You will receive an email alert from us that the iXBRL file is ready for your review. Please login to your account, download the files, review and approve.

If you require any amendments, we will do it at no additional cost. Any number of amendments is allowed till successful filing with HMRC.



Step 6: File CT600 tax returns with HMRC

Once you approve and finalize the iXBRL file, we will submit the CT600 tax returns on your behalf with HMRC Please note this is an optional service.


We will email you the acknowledgement information as soon as the file has been submitted successfully with HMRC.

You can send us your financial documents in MS Word, MS Excel and PDF formats. In case we have problem processing the received format (especially scanned pdfs) we may request you for an alternative format.

If the document is in a different format, please contact us to check if we can accommodate. We have instances of successfully converting non-standard formats generated from third party accounting software packages.

We expect the files have no embedded files, macros, or active-X controls. Content in non-text structures such as pictures or graphical shapes will not be tagged. It is recommended that the font size is 12pt.

We normally turnaround your iXBRL reports within in 7 business days. We understand sometimes you will require the turnaround time to be much faster due to exigencies. We can prioritize our delivery time accordingly but additional charges may apply. Please refer to our pricing section for details

As an approved HMRC vendor, we work closely with HMRC to keep ourselves updated with the latest standards and any special requirements. Our tagging software is also updated frequently. Before delivering the iXBRL reports to you, we do a test filing with HMRC to validate the iXBRL report.

All client data will be held in UK based servers. All information will be exchanged using secure file transfer protocols through our secure portal and our process are audited and ISO certified for security. Only qualified iXBRL experts will be involved in the handling and tagging of your statutory accounts who are bound by agreement of confidentiality.
